Oh my gosh. When my kids were young, and I was home with them All. The. Time. And we had days that were good and days that were BAD, and even minutes in between, I memorized Galatians 5:22 because the VERY last fruit of the Spirit is self-control. So, whenever the little angels pushed my buttons and threatened my peace, which of course threatened their’s, I would quote this verse. Usually, by the time I got to the end I had some sort of self-control, gentleness, and kindness.
We have been studying Holy Spirit this week on the Bite of Bread, my morning Facebook Live broadcast. We learned so much from our study on Galatians 5:22, I just had to share the video. I hope you can make time to watch it and glean what we did about these amazing words that describe the fruits. We also learned how we receive these fruits and why. There’s so much more than meets the eye.
I also announce the winner of the giveaway of A Mary Like Me: Flawed Yet Called. :)
It’s about thirty minutes in length. My kitty Hank makes an appearance! And well, we just have a lot of fun. Grab your Bible and a journal for notes. Pour some coffee, and come to my table for some soul nourishment. There’s plenty of room.
See ya Monday with a new Bite of Bread reading plan that will prepare our hearts for Easter.
Digging Deep,
Andy
