busy, Ecclesiastes, intentioanl, jobs, organize, Solomon, time, writers

Does anybody else have trouble with time? Time is kind of like money. The more of it you have, the more you feel you need. At least, in my case.

In the past, I’ve been much busier than I am today–at least busier with “tangible” activities like a paying job, small children, studying for a degree, etc. But writing…well, I can’t really seem to put my finger on a schedule that proves my feeling of “busy”ness. Yet I AM.

Yesterday, I was invited to add another hat to my collection of “jobs” in my life. Rather than being pumped up and thankful for the opportunity, I began worrying if I had enough Time. But I know that in reality my worry is rather ridiculous. I just need to be intentionally organized with my time. Not legalistic, but intentional.

I would love to hear ideas of how you have intentionally organized your day.

In the meantime, here is a wonderful scripture to chew on….

I have seen the burden God has laid on men. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink and find satisfaction in all his toil–this is the gift of God. (Eccl. 3:9-13).
