“No one is born either naturally or supernaturally with character; it must be developed. Nor are we born with habits–we have to form Godly habits on the basis of the new life God has placed in us. We are not to be seen as God’s perfect, bright shining example, but to be seen as the everyday essence of ordinary life exhibiting the miracle of His grace. Drudgery is the test of genuine character. The greatest hindrance of our spiritual life is that we will only look for the big things to do. Yet, ‘Jesus…took the towel and…began to wash the disciples feet…'(John 13:3-5).

This verse has been on my mind lately. “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in you….” (Isaiah 26:3).
Whatever we are going through in this life of character building, if we trust Him we will have peace. Even when life is drudgery, difficult, or demanding. Remember…He is a good Daddy.
Much peace and grace,
andy
