A Prayer for Your Wednesday: Short and Sweet

Psalm 17-8

A prayer for you today:

“Dear God, bless the eyes reading these words. I pray they will know that they are the apple of your eye. You watch them with delight and joy. You never leave them or forsake them. May the only shadows they experience be from your covering as your light shines about them. Help them trust your goodness and kindness even during the most difficult days, so they can climb under your wing close to your heart. Thank you for your Holy Spirit who fills us with joy and peace. Thank you for Jesus. Amen.”

What aspect of this prayer is the hardest for you to believe?

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).

For He delights in you.
