“I have said these things to you, that you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble, but take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

 

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

 

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels or rulers, nor things present or things to come, nor powers, nor height or depth, nor anything in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God.” Romans 8:37,38

 

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (ESV)

 

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. ” Matthew 6:34

 

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

  1. Thank you so much for this WORD reminder, Andy! I’ve found myself wondering recently about certain directions my life is taking, and why God is leading me down these paths; Romans 8:28 is a sure anchor – I may not see how, but God is causing ALL things to work together for my good – AMEN!

    I read these out loud today as my husband was driving me to an appointment. This is a season where God has placed me in leadership positions and one is very demanding. I am in meeting after meeting. And there are ongoing and new personal and family issues. I needed those verses v today. Thank you and thank God I read each one out loud. It calmed me.
