We Can Only Imagine and Trust

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Cor. 2:9).

My prayer for you this Resurrection Weekend,

“Dear God, give us a glimpse. As we hear the stories of your victory over death, and we sing worship songs of  your life and power, give us visions, even a tiny peek, of what’s ahead. As the disciples watched you die on the cross, they couldn’t imagine what you had prepared. But their lack of understanding didn’t stop you. You conquered death. Thank you Jesus! I pray for hope to replace despair, and for dreams buried to sprout new life. Resurrect what we’ve given up on–marriages, salvation of loved ones, healing, callings. May we worship you as Mary Magdalene did at the tomb. And then may we tell everyone that you are alive! Amen.”

Digging Deep,

Andy
