Bite of Bread: November 5-11

Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35

Set two places at your table–one for you and the other for Him. Light a candle, grab your coffee, Bible and journal. Eat of His wisdom. Feast on His promises. Fellowship with Him as you read words of praise and trust.

I would love to hear how the Scripture is blessing you. Which one speaks deepest into your spirit this week? Leave a comment or visit me on my Facebook page.

Thank you for posting these. Jeremiah 29:11-13 was the one for me today. Lately I’ve been dealing with the question of “why do things keep breaking?” (material and physical things). I thought, well, it stinks, and it’s expensive, but it could be worse. At least I have a lot of great things happening too. Maybe He’s showing me good and bad things to keep me balanced and aware of what I do have. This verse validated my gut feeling that I need to stay faithful, pray, and believe He has a good plan for me, even if I can’t see it right now. “They are plans for good and not for disaster”.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing this today! Yes, keep believing in the faithfulness and goodness of God. This faith is a flaming arrow against the enemy who wants us to doubt God’s love. I love how the Word speaks to us just where and when we need it. I will be praying for you and claiming Romans 8:28. God uses all things for good for those who are called according to His purpose. I know you are called. <3
