Consistency, living Water, Snowball

A Snowball in July

Dear friends,
I wanted to write a note to thank you for reading and apologize for the lack of posts lately. It’s amazing how life can snowball in the heat of summer!
A few months ago, I shared with you a new resolution to write only when I have something to say rather than simply because I have to say something Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I guess that’s the beauty of your own blog- you need to be consistent, but as your own boss, you don’t have to be. It’s one of those catch 22’s. I guess. For professional sake I should be consistent, but for spiritual sake, I don’t want to force something that won’t be a blessing.
So, as I write today, way after the post was due, I simply want to say, “I’m thankful for you.” You are good friends. You listen when my cup is running over and when it’s dry. I confess I’m a little dry and need to spend some time with the Living Water.
Maybe you are too. I hope this post will encourage you to sneak away from the worries and business of life. Escape from the heat of the sun or the snowball threatening to run you over and drink in time with Jesus.
Much love,
andy
Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.  (John 4:10)
