…Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God. (Luke 1:36,37).
Something inside of me knows that somebody (if not a lot of bodies) need verse 37 today.
His timing is perfect. I worried a little about taking a break from our Scripture yesterday to say goodbye to our pet, but I’ve got a feeling that it was part of His timing.
He wants you to read verse 37 today.
NOTHING
IS
IMPOSSIBLE
WITH
GOD.
If fear or hopelessness have been knocking on your door, cling to this verse and place your bundle of worries in His hands. Don’t give up praying.
Elizabeth’s husband never stopped praying. When Gabriel stood before him he said, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard” (Luke 1:13). Zechariah had been praying for a long time, and even when there was no hope, it made no sense, he still prayed for a child.
Keep praying. Impossible is not in our Father’s vocabulary.
Much grace and peace,
andy
