Don’t you love it when the Lord answers you just Don’t you love it when the Lord answers you just when you need it? I had whispered a prayer (with my inside voice) which means I didn’t ask aloud. But My petitions don’t have to be audible. Needing strength that comes only come from Him today, and He is my reason to worship. I know He is faithful. I know. #prayer #godisgood
Some of us woke up to a normal day. We’re gettin Some of us woke up to a normal day. We’re getting ready for church, and looking forward to another day. But some of us woke up today with a heavy heart. Decisions have to be made. New seasons have come bringing loss and fear. But the sun faithfully rose today. And for me, the morning coupled with this promise from the Psalms, gives me great comfort. He will make a way when there seems to be no way. He will answer my prayers. And He will answer yours. I love this prayer. I've prayed for my children to I love this prayer. I've prayed for my children to serve the Lord for years and years, and they are in their own ways. Now I get to pray this for my grandchildren. But what I really love about this pray sent to me by one of my friends is the prayer for the "pre-believer." Isn't that great?! Nothing is more nerve wracking than moving from on Nothing is more nerve wracking than moving from one home to another especially when everything is not in place, and you don't know where your next home will be. We pray for those families in limbo. We pray for those families who are homeless. The Lord is faithful. He is not worried or surprised. We pray for patience, provision, and peace. The Lord has given me a vision for a #prayerwall o The Lord has given me a vision for a #prayerwall on my grid. There is power in prayer, and I know if one person is asking for prayer, another heart also holds the same request. I sent this invitation to my subscribers today to share their prayers, and I would add them to my prayer wall. No names, just prayers. It will remind me to pray, and hopefully, it will encourage others to pray too. This was a prayer request that came from a momma's heart for her daughter. Those are strong prayers. Momma's don't stop praying for your babies. Ever. If you have been hurt in a relationship, this is my prayer for you today. I pray you don't let bitterness and anger take root, but if they have, I pray you let God pull them up. These are weeds that will suck the life from you and all the other little flowers in your life. "God will fight for you; you only need to be still "God will fight for you; you only need to be still." Exodus 14:14. Who needed that word today? It's our verse on our patience reading plan. I love this verse so much. What a promise. God. Will. Fight. What have you been fighting? What battle has been waging in your heart? I love the promise, but I also love the admonishment. "Be still." It's hard for us to be still, but rather than being frustrated with this command, look at it as a permission slip to take the day off of worrying and waging your war. The ancient Hebrew word actually means to "be silent," or "let alone." It also means to "rest, hold your tongue, and be still." So . . . that coworker you really want to give your piece of mind? Be still. God's got it. Those things you really want to tell your husband? ... Be still. God has it. And He loves you. Does this verse encourage you? Does it give you permission?
