Bite of Bread: Quench Your Thirst with the Living Water

Ruins in the Mediterranean Sea

Water.

We can’t live without it.

Everybody knows we need the physical kind, but many have no idea how spiritually dehydrated they are.

Though we need water to survive in this world, we need the Living Water to live in the next. And once we allow Him to fill us here, we then become faucets for others to find relief.

Some days my faucet is barely dripping. That’s when I need to dig deep into the well of God by spending time in His Word and in prayer.

We can never get too much of this good thing. My prayer is that I’m so filled up, the Living Water can’t be contained, and everybody around me gets a little wet.

That’s my prayer for you too.

Fill up this week, and then go squirt somebody. (Smile).

I’ll be drinking with you. And I’ll post the bites of our Fellowship Page everyday.

  1. Love how you said, “We can never get too much of this good thing.” We can never drown from Living Water because it flows out of us to touch others.

    1. Hey Bonnie! And the analogy goes on and on! I was thinking more of runners who die in marathons because they drink too much water. :) Yes, we cannot drown because it flows through us (In a good way.) Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your clever thoughts! I appreciate your splash of encouragement!
