Between His Shoulders

Rest. How we need it. We live in a busy world bombarded by all of the things invented to make our lives easier but instead have made us busy. But rest isn’t always needed physically, sometimes we need to find rest in our hearts and minds. We need to go to a place where our mind rests from perpetual planning and worry of a future that is not proven yet. I pray that if you need rest today, whether in the physical department or the mental/worry one, you’ll climb up in His lap right smack between His shoulders. Because there you have to trust that He won’t drop you, and there you can hear His heartbeat.
