You may not be able to feel Him.
The silence may be deafening.
But He’s with you.
If you missed the sunrise this morning, and your empty is emptier than its been in a long time, set your alarm when you go to bed tonight to wake you early. Make plans to watch the sun dance its way up the horizon.
Some of us need a sunrise–the promise of a new day and the tangible faithfulness of our God.
He’s never failed.
Will you pray with me?
“Dear God, you know what each person reading this prayer has been through this week. Some have lost loved ones. Some have lost their health. Some are lonely. Some afraid. We desperately need your presence. Manifest yourself to us in simple yet undeniable ways. Help us etch the promise of David’s words from Psalm 139 into our hearts. Guide us. We need you. Amen.”
What are you thankful for? Leave a comment to encourage others, and I have a feeling it will encourage you too! Thankfulness opens a door to God’s presence.
Hope to see you Monday with a new Bite of Bread reading plan!
