YA'LL! I'm so disappointed! It had become really

YA'LL! I'm so disappointed!

It had become really hard to find them, but once in awhile I could find my favorite hard candy.

Today as I was trying to type an article, my mouth began to wish for a cinnamon Jolly Rancher, so I searched for them on dear Google. What I discovered broke my heart. Yet another loss. My favorite candy has been discontinued.

Ya'll, no haters please. This is a sacred moment. This candy helped me through morning sickness and hours and hours at my keyboard. Though I'm sad, I have hope. Maybe just maybe those sweet and spicy red bits of heaven will one day be in stores again.

Until then, I guess Cinnamon Altoids will have to do. LOL.

This is our last verse on the reading plan on the Faithful God. Y’all, he is coming back on a white horse! That’s a horse of victory. Do you need some hope today about his faithfulness? Whatever you’re going through, he’s not finished. He’s Faithful. That’s his name and who he is. He’s faithful to hold your hand, give you peace in the storm, turn your pain to gain. It’s going to be better than you can imagine. Grab his hand and let him lead. Come Lord Jesus, come!

The best way to spend a morning. His word for me: “Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” Isa 64:4

Do we trust his timing with our hearts? This verse spoke great trust into my heart this morning. Through all the hard things I can wait with great assurance and peace. All things are working together for my good but also for His good! I want my life to work for His good purposes. His kingdom, not mine. I’m not trying to build a kingdom for me. I am working to help build His and therefore, I will wait to see His next assignment for us. I’ll wait in peace and great assurance of the goodness of my God’s heart and His presence in my life.

You can wait with peace and assurance too because this is His nature. This is who He is for all of us who love Him and are called to His good purposes.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share with my friends and lovers of Hank, that we had to say goodbye to him Sunday night.

We’ll miss you, Mr. Hank! Thank you for praying with me every morning, cuddling up at night, and traveling across the country patiently many times. I prayed for a cat who’d make my empty nest not so empty, and you did that very well. So long, my friend. Sleep well.
