Bible Reading Plan

Bite of Bread: Dec. 30-Jan. 5 (Bible Reading Plan on Hope)

I love celebrating a New Year.

It seems that no matter how good a year is, there is always hope that the next year will be better. And no matter how good a year was, there are always bits and pieces of that year I want to leave behind. I’m always thankful for the thought of a new start–the promise of starting over, trying again.

I do this every year with exercising and eating right. The “bad for you” holiday cuisine always attributes to this resolution. I always feel extremely unhealthy December 31.

I also do this with my writing career. Each year promises that maybe I’m one step closer to publishing a book.

But this year, my greatest hope and resolution is to make a difference in people’s lives and faith. Really and truly, there is no greater desire in me than to have the honor to walk this journey with you and cheer you on toward our heavenly goal.

The reading plan this week focuses on hope. I’ve added a question with each day. Journal your answer. Take some time to make it a prayer. Share in the comment section, and I’ll share my thoughts too.

What is your hope for 2014?

With Joy,

andy
