intercession, Jesus, prayer, Romans

Who is praying for you?

I’ve always been a Romans 8:28 fan: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” I still love this verse. It gives me hope in the rough times, the times I’ve messed up, even in the good days. This verse promises His goodness, and sometimes that is all I can stand on. God is good.

But today I was led to a verse a little farther down: “Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life is also interceding for us” (v. 32).

Jesus Christ is interceding for us.

Can you picture Christ sitting next to the Father and talking to Him about you in your behalf?

What do you think He is saying?

I think it is good.

Ponder this today. Let it marinate in your soul.

Jesus is praying for us.

This just puts a smile on my face.

Much love and grace,
andy
