Stop. Drop. Look Up: Advice from a Mother of a Teenage Driver

I’ve been through this twice already. Shouldn’t it get easier? Two children have successfully learned to drive, and we all survived. Yet here I stand at the threshold of one year closer to retiring taxi duty, yet I’m filled with bitter-sweet emotions and a tad bit of worry.

I don’t want to worry so…
I’m choosing to stop worrying, drop to my knees and look up to the heavens as my 15 year old baby boy takes his test for his driving permit. Sigh. Time to trust God again. I can only find peace when I trust Him with my treasures and look up in worship of the God who loves my kids more than I do.

Do you need to stop, drop, and look up for anything today?  I pray you experience His peaceful Presence as you do. I’m with ya!

Much grace,
andy

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you… (2 Thess. 3:16)
