Buttermilk Pancakes and Heaven

I wonder…will there by pancakes and maple syrup in heaven?

Jesus made breakfast for the disciples after He was resurrected. He even ate a piece of fish. And there is imagery of a grand banquet, a celebration throughout the Bible

I think there will be food. And there will be no confusion of what is bad for you and what is good! Hallelujah. All these studies are so confusing.

Until then. This is an awesome recipe if you need to use up the buttermilk you bought for the Mississippi Mud Cake.

Eat responsibly. (Smile.)

Best Buttermilk Pancakes EVER!

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbls white sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3 cups whole buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Mix flour, sugar, and salt in large bowl.

In separate bowl whisk eggs, add buttermilk, milk, melted butter, soda and baking powder. Pour the buttermilk mixture into the flour. Mix with a wooden spoon. Don’t over-mix. Place a 1/4th cup batter onto hot griddle (which I’ve warmed while I mixing the batter) per pancake.

Let me know what your thoughts are about food in heaven or heavenly food…and if you like this recipe!

Blessings,
