Expectation of the Tangible

Dear Lord,

To the God of Abraham and Isaac, and Jacob we lift up our hands today. We love you Lord! We praise you and thank you for your amazing love.

God, I really don’t know what the eyes reading these words need, but I do know that every one of us need You. We need Your presence; we need to see Your hand; we need to feel Your love. For those who are lonely please bring a friend. For those who are sick, give them grace to reach out and touch the edge of Your wings. There is healing in Your wings. Open our ears to the song that You sing over us in the middle of the night. May we know the melody and recognize the familiarity of its rhythm.

Holy Spirit fill us to overflowing today. May living waters flow from our lips. Set our eyes on things unseen no longer persuaded by the present.

Jesus, remind us of our need for You and the miracle of our salvation. And when nothing else seems to be going our way, remind us of Your sacrifice for each one of us.

I close this prayer with expectation of nothing less than Your tangible answers to these requests. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Amen.

Be blessed my friends. You have been chosen. You are His delight.
Much love,
andy

The Lord your God is with you; He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)
ps. I found this prayer in my archives. Something in me thought it needed to be prayed again.
