Building the Kingdom

“….acknowledge the God of your father, and serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek Him He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever…David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and DO THE WORK. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you” (1 Chronicles 28:9,20).

A prayer for us today:

“Oh Lord, we love you! We acknowledge you as our God, and we long to serve you with wholehearted devotion. Make our mind willing; our hearts and motives pure. Keep our thoughts on you. Help us seek you and only you, Lord. Not perfect circumstances or comfort or fame…just You. We need Your strength and courage to minister to others, to do the work You have set aside for today; whether to a neighbor or a nation, send us. Use us to build the Kingdom of God here on earth. There’s no greater purpose. Amen.”

I know He will use you today.

Much grace and peace,
andy
